500 guests, including cast + crew, were invited to celebrate the final premiere of the global tour with an after-party held at the British Museum. Guests arrived to a beautiful + uniquely LOTR: Rings of Power welcome with a red carpet inlaid with an Elvish greeting and an 8m high cascade of golden leaves that created a spectacular step + repeat moment surrounded by hundreds of golden lanterns.

The museum’s iconic Great Court became the map of Middle-Earth, with a design focused on interpreting each of the kingdoms in a clean, elevated + contemporary way utilising key textures, graphics + florals. Extreme care was taken making sure that every little detail was in-line with the series + the wider Tolkien universe, particularly because it is a body of work that is so highly regarded and has such a dedicated fanbase. Khazad-dûm was a rock face bar complete with a vein of Mithril ore, serving classic 'on the rocks' cocktails with ice chiselled live in front of guests. The Harfoots were celebrated with the ultimate feasting station hidden amongst trees filled with twinkling firefly lights. A bespoke food station centred around the golden trees of Lindon, serving regenerative + sustainable produce represented The Elves.

The evening culminated with a spell-binding live choral + orchestral performance created by the series’ composer Bear McCreary specifically for the event for a truly immersive experience.
