KIND Project
The AIDS Plays Project aims to produce, archive and celebrate the plays of writers whose lives were cut short by HIV/AIDS.
Reviving their plays through inter-generational collaboration, creating an accessible archive of queer plays and content, and commissioning new works by emerging queer artists.
Season one performances included; ‘Camille’ by Charles Ludlam, ‘Christmas on Mars’ by Harry Kondoleon and ‘Jerker, or the Helping Hand’ by Robert Chesley. Hosted at the London Performance Studios. Featured in Freize, AnOther and Hero magazine.
The project also includes bespoke, limited-edition merch collections in collaboration with Imprint Works, performance recordings broadcast on Montez Press Radio and soon-to-be-announced republication of some of the plays. 100% of all funds raised through ticket and merch sales goes back into supporting The AIDS Plays Project.
